Five Guys, Newcastle

The works to convert a former office block into a Five Guys restaurant. The works included the removal of 70 ton of concrete façade and the installation of structural glazing to the elevation of the building. Other works included internal demolition and the installation of new entrance doors and windows to the ground floor. Special consideration had to be made to its location as the building was located on a very busy pedestrianised route through Newcastle’s main shopping street; works had to be co-ordinated to minimise disruption to the general public and the businesses located in close proximity to the construction works.

The project duration was 8 weeks.
